Merrick Carter is in his ninth season as the Character Development Coach at Ventura College in 2019. Coach Carter provides and coordinates FCA meetings and one-on-one coaching for team members to sustain a high level of spiritual enthusiasm, character and focus.
His practical approach makes it easy for young people to relate and understand him as he addresses the issues that they face every day. The importance of a positive attitude being his primary focus, Coach Carter’s message provokes players to think about themselves from the inside out and challenges them to be the best they can be on an off the field.
