Men's Polo Wins Sixth Straight

Playing a solid all-around game, the Pirates' men's water polo team defeated Santa Monica 10-7 Wednesday afternoon at the Ventura Aquatic Center. Tim Allen led the offense with four goals and Nick Miranda scored twice. Sean McGee had nine saves in goal for the Pirates (10-9, 2-1), who posted their sixth consecutive victory.

MEN'S WATER POLO:  Playing a solid all-around game, the Pirates' men's water polo team defeated Santa Monica 10-7 Wednesday afternoon at the Ventura Aquatic Center. Tim Allen led the offense with four goals and Nick Miranda scored twice. Sean McGee had nine saves in goal for the Pirates (10-9, 2-1), who posted their sixth consecutive victory. Joe Yamamoto, Rogelio Coronado, Josue Cornejo, and Rodrigo Siracusa also scored goals for VC in the win.

VC will travel to Huntington Beach on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 and 25 for a tournament at Golden West College. They complete Western State Conference regular season play Wednesday Oct. 30 at Los Angeles Valley.
