Midnight Madness Returning to the AEC

Basketball is returning to the VC Athletic Event Center! 

The Ventura College men's basketball team will tip-off 2019-20 with its annual Midnight Madness event Friday Oct. 11.  The event will begin at 10:00 pm and will include high school scrimmages and 3-point shooting and dunk contests, in addition to an intrasquad scrimmage featuring the Pirates under ninth-year head coach Joey Ramirez.  

High school scrimmages will begin the evening at 10:00 pm, featuring Ventura vs. Rio Mesa.  The Pirates will follow at 10:20pm, then St. Bonaventure vs. Oxnard at 10:40.  The evening will conclude with 3-point shooting and dunk contests featuring high school players and members of the 2019-20 Pirate team.

Admission for the evening's events is $5 for all fans.

VC will open the regular season with the We Play Hard Tip-Off Tournament Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the Athletic Event Center.
