Men's Polo Drops Close Contest with Monarchs
The Ventura College men's water polo team dropped a close 13-11 contest against visiting Los Angeles Valley Wednesday at the Ventura Aquatic Center. Daniel Vadas, Nico Rosado and Owen Patterson all netted two goals for the Pirates with Vadas also handing out a pair of assists. Rosado recorded for ejections drawn and Patrik Bötkös alsohad four ED's. Brayden Black grabbed two steals defensively for VC (13-10, 2-2).

The Pirates netted four goals in the opening period and added another three before halftime. The team added two goals each in the third and fourth quarters in the 13-11 setback.
Bryce Biglin had 10 saves in the age for Ventura while Wyatt Dingman filled the stat sheet wit a goal, one assist, one steal, one ED and one field block on the day.
VC next heads to the second Golden West Tournament of the year in Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa. VC will begin the bracket against Saddleback at 10:20 am at Orange Coast on Friday Oct. 24.
