Collin begins his second year as a volunteer assistant to the VC team, a program that he has been a part of virtually his entire life.   In 2014 he was instrumental in working with the Western State Conference Championship Men’s Team, who many considered to have won an unlikely title, and that ultimately finished sixth at the State Championship Meet.

A 2014 Graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Collin was a member of the 2012 – 2013 UCSB Men’s swim team and competed at the PAC-12 Championship Meet.  Prior to UCSB, Collin had a n illustrious career at VC, winning 3 individual, and 5 relay team WSC titles, and 3 relay team State titles.  He was a member of two WSC Championship teams (2010, 2011) and was a member of the 2010 Men’s swim team that won the program’s second California State Title.  In 2011 the men were runners-up at the state meet and Collin was a member of the State Championship 800 Free Relay team that established the existing State Record.  He completed his VC career, as an 11 time National Community College All-American.

Before attending Ventura College, Collin was a 2009 Graduate of Oaks Christian School.  At Oaks he was a multiple CIF individual and relay team champion, as well as being a part of three CIF Championship teams.  He was a four year letterman in Swimming and Water Polo and was named to the All-County, and All-CIF teams in both sports.  He completed his prep career with 10 National Interscholastic All-American Swimming honors.

Collin will specialize on deck working with athletes.  He has been in the competitive swimming world for over 15 years and will bring great passion and competitive experience to this year’s team.  Collin is single and lives in nearby Camarillo.
