Women's Soccer Falls at Mt. SAC
The VC women's soccer team traveled to Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut Tuesday, falling to the Mounties 3-0. Defender Alondra Sanchez was named the player of the game of the game for the Pirates, who only managed four shots in the game, two on goal.

The VC women's soccer team traveled to Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut Tuesday, falling to the Mounties 3-0. Defender Alondra Sanchez was named the player of the game of the game for the Pirates, who only managed four shots in the game, two on goal.
Mt. SAC scored twice in the early going, finding the inside of the net in the 11th and 18th minutes for a 2-0 advantage.
VC's first shot on goal came in the 35th minute by Jennifer Ramirez.
Jazzy Moreno missed a free kick in the 60th minute and Arianna Hernandez had a shot go off the crossbar three minutes later.
The Mounties put the game away with a goal in the 66th minute to set the final margin.
Ventura next hosts El Camino on Friday Sept. 12 at 6:00 pm at the Sportsplex. It will also be AYSO night and every young player in uniform will get one accompanying adult into the game free of charge.
