Alondra Sanchez, Tanaya Moreno, Jazzy Moreno and Jennifer Ramirez all received first team accolades as voted by the conference coaches last month.
Torres, a Pacifica high School graduate, overcame an early-season injury to repeat as the WSC's top defender. She helped lead the Pirates to a 1.0 goals against average in conference play from her center back position.
Sanchez, a sophomore from Oxnard's Santa Clara High School, also played a key role in Ventura's stingy defense and also scored a goal with two assists in conference play, earning first team All-WSC honors.
Tanaya, a second-year player out of Rio Mesa High School, was the third top honoree from VC's strong defensive unit.
Jazzy, a sophomore from Ventura High School, prowled the Pirates midfield, scoring four goals with an assist against WSC opponents.
Finally, Ramirez, a Buena High School product, was the Pirates leading scorer in WSC play, netting five goals with a pair of assists to garner first team accolades.
Sophomores Valeria Lopez, Klarissa Melgoza and Samantha Quinonez all earned second team All-WSC honors as voted upon by the conference coaches and Cristal Vargas and Monse Hernandez were named honorable mention All-WSC.
Ventura finished the year 9-7-6 overall, 6-2-4 in conference play, finishing in a tie for second place in the WSC North. The Pirates advanced to the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs for the 28th time in 29 seasons since the program's inception, all under head coach Steve Hoffman.
