The Pirates' women's tennis doubles team of Karissa garland and Tanya Thompson qualified for the CCCAA State Championships at The Ojai Tournament at the Western State Conference Championships Friday and Saturday at the VC Tennis Center. After an opening round bye, the pair won their Round of 16 match against opponents from Antelope Valley, 8-3, to qualify for state.
