Aguiar Earns All-WSC Award for Women's Tennis
VC freshman Chrystelle Aguiar has been named second team All-Western State Conference in her No. 5 singles slot in voting by the conference coaches before the WSC Singles and Doubles Tournament last month. Aguilar is the lone Pirate to be named All-WSC in women's tennis for 2024.
VC freshman Chrystelle Aguiar has been named second team All-Western State Conference in her No. 5 singles slot in voting by the conference coaches before the WSC Singles and Doubles Tournament last month. Aguiar is the lone Pirate to be named All-WSC in women's tennis for 2024.
Aguiar, a first-year player from Ventura, had a solid season in dual match play, posting a 9-3 record overall in WSC play with a 9-2 mark in her normal No. 5 singles slot. Overall, she was 11-6 on the year with an 11-3 record in No. 5 singles play.
The Pirate women finished the year 7-11 overall with a 5-9 mark in the conference, placing them sixth in the eight-team league.
