Bio

Jill Hall has enthusiastically joined the VC volleyball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2025 season. She is a decorated former high school and Dvision I volleyball player who is a tremendous addition to the PIrate bench.

Jill had a decorated high school volleyball career at Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead. She earned first team All-CIF, was named to the San Bernardino County All-Star Team, awarded team MVP, and honored as the CIF Student Athlete of the Year.

She was recruited to play volleyball Division I volleyball at Brown University in Providence, RI where she went on to earn All-Ivy League accolades and team captain by her sophomore year.  Jill also developed a love for coaching at Brown, helping direct the men's competitive club volleyball team for two years. Jill graduated from Brown with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and went on to Medical school at USC Keck School of Medicine and residency at UCLA. 

She is a practicing physician and surgeon in Ventura, and continues her passion for volleyball by dedicating her free time to coaching.  Jill has coached at multiple regional club volleyball organizations coached at Oaks Christian School in Westlake for four years. She is particularly passionate about sports mentality coaching and the neuropsychology of team dynamics.
