Women's Polo Falls at Valley

In their regular-season conference finale, the Pirates' women's water polo team dropped a 9-6 decision at Los Angeles Valley Wednesday afternoon. Ashley Runyon scored a goal with two assists and drew one ejection while Lauren McCaslin scored four goals with three drawn ejections. Christina Tellez also scored a goal with one assist for the Pirates (14-9-1, 3-2).

WOMEN'S WATER POLO:  In their regular-season conference finale, the Pirates' women's water polo team dropped a 9-6 decision at Los Angeles Valley Wednesday afternoon. Ashley Runyon scored a goal with two assists and drew one ejection while Lauren McCaslin scored four goals with three drawn ejections. Christina Tellez also scored a goal with one assist for the Pirates (14-9-1, 3-2).  Molly Watkins turned back 12 Monarch shots in goal. 

VC will close the regular season on Friday Nov. 1 at the Pasadena Mini Tournament before preparing for the Western State Conference Tournament at Santa Monica on Nov. 8-9. The Pirates will be seeded No. 3 of the six conference teams in the tournament.
