The Ventura College baseball team righted the ship with a three-game sweep of Oxnard College last week. A major contributor to that success was second baseman Reiss Calvin. The freshman from Woodbury, MN batted 8-16 (.500) in the three games with 10 runs batted in and another tworuns scored. In Thursday's middle game of the series, Calvin hit for the cycle with a two-run home run in the first, a two-RBI double in the fifth, a single in the seventh, and a two-RBI triple in the eighth for the rare baseball feat.
