The Ventura College men's tennis team has once again been named an All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association while seven team members have been named Junior College Men's Scholar Athletes by the ITA in a release last week. The Pirates posted a 3.74 overall grade point average in the spring 2022 semester to be one of eight programs, one of two from California, to be recognized nationally.
After a dominant season in which the Pirates' men's tennis team went 6-0 in Western State Conference play, winning 52 of 54 matches in those six contests, it comes as no suirprise that VC dominated the All-WSC awards handed out at the conclusion of the season.
